About the Role:
The Partnerships team drives Klaviyo's Owned Marketing vision by building and deepening relationships with the best advisory firms and technology companies in the world. With 5,000+ agency and technology partners, 350+ integrations, and 193,000+ brands actively searching for partner expertise, Klaviyo's ecosystem is one of the largest and most established in B2C marketing. For every $1 in Klaviyo MRR, partners report at least $3 in services revenue — making this a high-stakes, high-value ecosystem for everyone involved.
As a Partner Sales Specialist, you'll be on the front lines — prospecting, recruiting, and onboarding new agency partners while activating dormant ones and expanding existing relationships. You'll qualify inbound referrals, collaborate closely with the sales team, and develop a sharp eye for high-potential opportunities across our long tail of partners.
We're looking for someone with 1–2 years in a BDR/SDR or closing role who's ready to take that experience into the world of partnerships. You'll build lasting relationships, enable partners to grow with Klaviyo, and bring the hustle and collaborative spirit to make it all happen.
How you will make a difference:
- Prospect, recruit, and onboard net new agency partners
- Orchestrate effective cold outreach across multiple channels
- Generate meetings for the sales team through the rapid response to and qualification of inbound leads from our partners
- Learn to effectively identify qualified leads, articulate Klaviyo’s value proposition, and route opportunities properly to the direct sales team
- Expand into agencies’ books of business with upsell opportunities
- Identify high-potential inactive partners and make a best effort to activate them through engagement
- Enable partners on new Klaviyo products and offerings
- Provide guidance and support to our existing partner network
- Collaborate with other members of the partnerships team to best support partners in your book of business
- Partner closely with the direct sales team to ensure an exceptional partner experience
Who you are:
- 1–2 years of BDR/SDR experience or a similar role; experience in a high-volume, high-velocity sales or partnership sales environment is a plus, especially at a MarTech SaaS company
- Highly adept at influencing and relationship building
- Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
- Curious, organized, engaging, and energetic
- Excited to be a part of and have an impact on a rapidly-growing, profitable scale-up
- Positive outlook, can-do attitude, and love helping to build and improve things
- Excellent organizational skills
