Since day one, our priority at Klaviyo has been to build products our customers love. Technology is at the core of what we do, and it’s what drives our evolution and growth. Today, I’m thrilled to announce Surabhi Gupta as our new Chief Technology Officer. Surabhi is a true technologist and expert in data and engineering, and she will be instrumental in helping us deliver even more value to our customers.

Surabhi brings a wealth of experience from her time at iconic companies like Robinhood and Airbnb, where she scaled teams and systems to support innovative, game-changing products. Most recently, she served as the SVP and head of engineering at Robinhood, guiding the company through its transition to a public entity. Her impressive background also includes leading engineering for Airbnb’s core Homes business and working on web search ranking and predictive search for Google Now.

When I asked Surabhi why she wanted to join Klaviyo, she shared, “I’m inspired by how much customers love the product and the direct impact it has on their business. I’m excited by the opportunities we have at Klaviyo to solve large, complex problems to help customers achieve their ambitions and grow their businesses.” This passion for customer-centric technology is exactly what we need as we look to the future.

Surabhi is joining us at a pivotal moment. As we expand internationally and roll out a growing suite of AI-powered products, technology will play a crucial role in our success.
