At Klaviyo, our product is our passion. We deliver value to our customers through our product, giving them an edge by helping them build better experiences and digital relationships with consumers. We know that we are only 1% done in achieving that goal, and that speed is critical for our customers to win.

Today, I’m thrilled to announce and welcome Adil Wali as our new Chief Product Officer. Adil is a serial entrepreneur with multiple successful exits, having started an agency, co-founded online retailer ModCloth, and later an ecommerce platform. As a former Klaviyo customer, he knows the ins and outs of what makes Klaviyo a leader in the data and marketing automation space, and where exactly to expand and deepen our capabilities to meet the needs of our customers and our partner ecosystem.

Moreover, Adil knows how to ship quality products quickly and at scale. Previously, he served as Head of Product for Meta FinTech, where he oversaw all of payments for Meta in his first non-founding role.

In our early conversations, it was clear that our team’s customer-centricity and focus on driving economic impact for our customers aligned squarely with Adil’s own professional passion.

As someone who has spent his entire life building companies—most of them in the commerce space—I have a deep appreciation for the importance of helping businesses grow and achieve their goals sustainably.

“As someone who has spent his entire life building companies—most of them in the commerce space—I have a deep appreciation for the importance of helping businesses grow and achieve their goals sustainably,” Wali says. “This is something Klaviyo does phenomenally well and it’s a mission that inspires me.”

Adil represents a truly unique skill set in a product leader. He is an entrepreneur with first-hand Klaviyo experience who can also stretch into leading a mature organization. He has deliberately honed his skills for both building from the ground up when there’s massive ambiguity and guiding a team through the evolution of a well-established product. At Klaviyo, we plan to leverage that rare superpower and bring more capabilities to our customers and partners faster than ever.

It has always been my deep desire to build a company on a mission to create exceptional solutions for our customers. Adil represents the best of that vision with his experience in experimentation, fast iteration, big wins, and bias toward action. I cannot wait to see what we build together!
