We are looking for a talented Sales Development leader to join our fast-growing Klaviyo APAC Sales organization. This role will be responsible for leading a team of Business Development Representatives across multiple APAC markets, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, and delivering a world-class experience to prospective customers.
As the first BDR Manager in Singapore, you will play a foundational role in building the Asia region’s pipeline engine — owning hiring, goal setting, performance management, and day-to-day coaching, while adapting Klaviyo’s sales development motion to diverse markets, cultures, and buyer behaviors. This role will be instrumental in developing Klaviyo’s future sales leaders in APAC and driving sustained regional growth.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Hire, onboard, and manage a team of high-performing BDRs supporting Klaviyo’s Asia markets
- Own and deliver against monthly and quarterly pipeline goals across the region
- Provide daily sales coaching focused on discovery, qualification, outbound execution, and conversion quality
- Manage to KPIs and activity metrics that drive consistent, repeatable performance
- Adapt inbound and outbound strategies to reflect regional buyer behavior, market maturity, and language nuance
- Analyze performance, identify trends, and report effectively in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Marketing to optimize regional demand generation and outbound productivity
- Hire exceptional talent and develop them into future sales reps for APAC and beyond
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, accountability, and inclusion
- Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally within Marketing Technology or e-commerce platforms
- 3+ years of experience hiring and managing an Inbound and/or Outbound Sales Development team in a SaaS environment
- Prior closing experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of coaching teams to exceed pipeline and activity targets
- Hands-on leader with strong coaching, feedback, and performance management skills
- Passionate about talent development and building early-career sales talent
- Ability to quickly identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with ambiguity
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and data-driven
- Experience selling into or managing teams across APAC markets strongly preferred
- High cultural awareness and ability to adapt sales motions across diverse regions
- Fluency in English required; additional APAC language proficiency (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa, Cantonese) is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and sales engagement tools such as Salesloft and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient.
