About the Team and Role

At Klaviyo, our best marketing comes from the success of our customers. With more than 176,000 brands using our platform, we have the privilege of turning incredible customer stories into powerful programmes that inspire, educate, and drive growth.

We’re looking for a Customer & Advocacy Marketing Manager, EMEA to lead how we celebrate, activate, and amplify our customers across one of Klaviyo’s most diverse and high-growth regions.

This isn’t a typical advocacy role. EMEA spans multiple countries, languages, and levels of digital maturity, demanding a hyper-local, culturally intelligent approach. You’ll uncover and champion Klaviyo’s biggest advocates, from fast-growing ecommerce disruptors to established retail brands, transforming their success into stories and activations that build trust and influence across the region.

Sitting within the EMEA Brand & Content team and collaborating with our global Community & Customer Marketing team in Boston, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Education, Events, and Content to create scalable programmes that drive meaningful customer engagement and impact throughout EMEA.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Customer Storytelling

  • Identify and develop a portfolio of customer advocates across EMEA with a focus on markets such as (but not limited to) UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Benelux and the Nordics, prioritising those that align with Klaviyo’s regional growth goals.
  • Develop frameworks for ‘local hero’ storytelling - amplifying influential brands across all target segments within each sub-region.
  • Partner with PR, Events, CS and Sales to spotlight EMEA brands across earned, owned, and shared channels.
  • Partner with the global Customer Marketing team to adapt and scale storytelling formats, short videos, written narratives, social highlights, and thought leadership features.

Reference & Advocacy

  • Support and grow Klaviyo’s global customer advocacy program in EMEA, building relationships with top advocates and ensuring customer participation across speaking engagement, media, and reference opportunities.
  • Manage the pipeline of referenceable customers across EMEA and facilitate customer connections for internal teams including Product Marketing, Sales, CS and PR.
  • Develop in-region strategies to deepen engagement among top EMEA customers.

Regional Activations

  • Partner with Events, Community, and Marketing teams to source and prepare customer speakers for flagship moments such as K:LDN, webinars, and key regional events.
  • Identify and activate customers to share their stories across partner, industry, and community platforms, both in-person and digitally.
  • Plan and execute customer-centric experiences, from intimate roundtables and dinners to larger community activations, that align with regional priorities and resonate locally.
  • Serve as the regional customer marketing lead for launches, ensuring advocates are activated to support key GTM moments, whether driven globally or locally.

Regional Nuance

  • Work closely with global counterparts to localise global advocacy strategies for EMEA, ensuring they land authentically and compliantly across different markets.
  • Navigate the unique legal, linguistic, and cultural complexities of EMEA, from GDPR and brand consent processes to differing notions of public endorsement and data sharing.
  • Tailor customer storytelling to resonate with regional trends (e.g., sustainability in Nordics, luxury retail in France/Italy, omnichannel innovation in the UK etc).

Who You Are

  • 5–7 years of experience in B2B software marketing, ideally with direct experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, or product marketing.
  • You have deep knowledge of the EMEA region, with an ability to adapt global programs to suit local market realities.
  • You understand the difference between what resonates in London vs. Berlin vs. Paris and can flex your strategy accordingly.
  • Strong writer and storyteller with the ability to capture customer value clearly and credibly.
  • Strong relationship builder with experience engaging senior-level customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven programme manager who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-time-zone collaboration.
  • Passionate about customer-centric marketing and amplifying the success of others.
  • You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you’re excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient
