About the Team
The Reporting Platform pillar powers how customers understand and analyze their performance across Klaviyo. Every chart, dashboard, and report in the product relies on this infrastructure to surface accurate, scalable, and actionable insights. The Core Reporting team is responsible for building the foundation that powers reporting across the entire platform. As Klaviyo continues to expand across channels and serve larger enterprise customers, reporting systems must evolve to support new data types, deliver fast performance at scale, and provide flexible ways for customers to explore their data.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Core Reporting team and help execute key initiatives that improve the scalability, flexibility, and reliability of Klaviyo’s reporting infrastructure. This role focuses on driving execution across several foundational roadmap themes, including improvements to reporting infrastructure, enterprise scalability, flexible dashboarding, and ongoing development of Report Builder.
You’ll work closely with engineering and design to translate strategy into clear product requirements, break complex initiatives into deliverable milestones, and ensure critical workstreams stay aligned and moving forward. Because reporting is a foundational platform capability, the work you deliver will impact teams and customers across Klaviyo. This role is a great opportunity for an early-career PM interested in analytics, data platforms, and building infrastructure that powers product experiences at scale. Please note this is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in our Boston office. Fully remote candidates will not be considered at this time.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Drive execution across key Core Reporting roadmap initiatives including reporting infrastructure improvements, enterprise scalability, flexible dashboarding, and enhancements to Report Builder
- Translate product strategy into clear product specifications and requirements for engineering and design partners
- Break large platform initiatives into clearly scoped milestones and deliverable increments
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and keep complex workstreams aligned and on track
- Partner closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality analytics capabilities
- Ensure reporting systems remain scalable, performant, and reliable as new data sources and product features are introduced
- Communicate progress, risks, and roadmap updates to stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership
- Help maintain consistency and trust in reporting metrics and data definitions across the platform
Who You Are
- You have 2-3 years of product management experience, or equivalent experience in an adjacent role such as data analyst, associate PM, or technical program manager
- You have experience working on analytics, reporting, data visualization, or platform products, not solely front-end feature work
- You care deeply about data accuracy, metric definitions, and building trust in analytics systems
- You are comfortable breaking large, complex projects into clearly scoped deliverables and milestones
- You can drive clarity and progress in ambiguous environments without waiting for perfect information
- You’re comfortable working closely with engineers on data-heavy or platform-focused products
- You have experience writing clear product specifications or PRDs
Nice to Have
- Experience working on platform or data infrastructure products
- Familiarity with analytics concepts such as metrics, dimensions, aggregations, query performance, or schema design
- Experience with data visualization UX or dashboard design
- Background in B2B SaaS analytics products, especially in martech, data platforms, or business intelligence
