- Slightly more non-essential workers say they’ve changed their summer plans.
- People who are traveling internationally this summer plan to buy more new items for their travels.
- More people who are 45 and over say they will not be dining out in the next month.
Most people are changing their summer plans.
Seventy-two percent of non-essential workers say they have already changed their summer plans, compared to 68 percent of essential workers. Nine percent of non-essential workers are undecided, compared to 7 percent of essential workers.
People with international travel plans say they need to buy new items to prepare.
Fifty-six percent of people who say they plan to travel internationally this summer said they plan to buy new items for their vacation. Meanwhile, 48 percent of people traveling within their home state and 42 percent of people with domestic travel plans say that they plan to buy new items in preparation.
This is greater than the 48 percent of people traveling locally that said they plan to buy new items and 42 percent of those traveling domestically.
More people over 45 say they will not be dining out in the next month.
Forty-six percent of those 45 and over said they won’t be dining out in the next month, compared to just 35 percent of those under 45. People under 45 are more undecided. Sixteen percent said they weren’t sure if they’d dine out, compared to just 10 percent of those 45 and over.
