See how campaigns perform for different audiences to make better decisions
With the new campaign performance by segment reporting feature, Klaviyo users can easily view their campaign metrics at the audience level. Gain key insights about each segment, identify patterns, and spot outliers in order to make decisions about future communications.
When sending a campaign to your customer base, you expect there to be differences in how your segments engage with the message.
Let’s say you’re an online cosmetic company. When you announce a new product for women over the age of 60, you expect the product announcement email to resonate with customers in your 60+ segment.
However, you want to know how it performs with customers in other age groups. Are certain demographics still interested in learning about the product? Will sending to a younger audience cause them to unsubscribe? With visibility into these segment-specific insights, you can make data-driven decisions about your segmentation strategy for your next product announcement email or any future campaign.
While any tool will let you create campaigns for each segment, that takes time. With campaign performance by segment reporting, Klaviyo lets you see how each audience responds to a single campaign, giving you the time back to do what you love, marketing.
Audience breakdown for quick guidance on campaign performance
Now, after sending an email or SMS campaign to different segments, you’ll see a new Audience Breakdown tab within your campaign reporting view. Here you can spot the audiences that are most engaged with your campaigns, those that have the highest conversion rates, and those that are performing poorly. This overview provides quick guidance for your next campaign.
Customize campaign reports to fit your needs
For brands who have complex segmentation and targeting strategies, the ability to easily customize audience reporting is even more critical. Our new reporting feature allows brands to customize their reports to view metrics that are most important such as email, unsubscribe rate, or placed order value.
Now, custom reports can be grouped by list and segment so you can easily compare performance across them without having to run separate reports for each, later piecing them together.
If you are running an A/B test within your campaign, you can also see audience-level results for each variation being tested.
Let’s go back to the online cosmetic company example above. You want to test multiple subject lines for your skincare product announcement email. With this new feature, you quickly learn that variation A performs better for those in the 60+ segment, but variation B generates stronger engagement for those in the 40-60 demographic.
Use campaign performance by segment to boost performance
Klaviyo’s new reporting feature makes it easy for you to identify audience-level insights for each campaign targeting multiple lists or segments. Use these insights to make decisions about future campaigns to ensure you’re optimizing your customer experience while maintaining deliverability best practices.
Get started today by building an email or SMS campaign to send to different groups. Your campaign results will automatically break out your metrics at the audience level.
