About the Team
Our Product Design team is organized into a series of product pillars, where multiple teams contribute to the goals of a larger mission. This role sits within the Growth Pillar which helps unlock the full value of Klaviyo for brands by optimizing the entire customer journey from acquisition to expansion, driving stronger business outcomes for our customers.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to work fluidly and collaboratively on strategic growth design. As a high level individual contributor, you will lead design direction for experiments, onboarding, adoption, and monetization experiences that help businesses discover value, upgrade, and stay engaged. You set a strong example and provide thoughtful direction within the team, often acting as a mentor and coach. You will work closely with the dedicated team of Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to help shape the future of our product. The ideal candidate is excited about tackling ambitious design problems, leveraging design to drive product strategy, and creating features that are fast, intuitive and inspirational.
How You'll Have an Impact
- Get design projects on the roadmap, ship them, and drive measurable results
- Lead and coordinate multiple complex projects at the same time
- Design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity UI
- Organize and moderate design critiques as an in-house expert
- Drive process improvements, from creation to adoption
- Adapt the design process for cross-functional problem solving
- Assist with interviewing candidates for future roles
- Contribute to building Klaviyo’s design culture
What You’ll Need
- 8+ years of professional design experience.
- You have a portfolio of projects supporting end-to-end product development cycle, from audience definition to product adoption.
- Experience shipping product lead growth work into larger markets and iterating over time
- The flexibility to be a great collaborator in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, bringing cross-functional teams together
- Experience driving product growth through experimentation and data-driven design decisions
- A systems thinker who can identify common components required to support various use cases.
- The capability to take a unique (or even unpopular) stand on an issue and facilitate a productive outcome
- A growth mindset and the ability to think on your feet

Our salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
