Moom Health, co-founded by sisters Mili and Maya Kale in 2021, specialises in natural remedies for Asian women. The brand addresses all kinds of wellness needs but is best known for their women’s health and hormonal health solutions—from cycle support to postpartum solutions.

In just a few years, Moom Health has grown to ship thousands of orders every month through direct-to-consumer ecommerce and partnerships with marketplaces and offline retailers. And since 2023, they’ve used Klaviyo to power smarter digital relationships.

Challenge

Moom Health has a diverse product selection and a growing base of customers, each with their own unique health goals and needs. The small marketing team needed an efficient way to personalise email communications at scale.

Solution

In December 2023, Moom Health turned to Klaviyo to create a stronger, more personalised customer experience for their growing audience.

Klaviyo’s pre-built integrations with Shopify, LoyaltyLion, and Recharge empowers Moom Health to collect and analyse important customer preference and purchasing information. Now the team understands their customers better, they can build more specific audience segments and send them more relevant messages.

Strategy

To achieve their goals, Moom Health uses Klaviyo to build and nurture their community. In H1 2025, they saw an 82% increase in Klaviyo-attributed conversions, and a 98x return on their Klaviyo investment. Here’s how they did it:

  • Using quizzes to understand customer needs: Moom captures email addresses along with information about products that customers may be interested in, and syncs this data in Klaviyo to use when sending personalised emails.
  • Taking control of the customer journey with automations: Moom Health uses 3 essential flows to nurture customer relationships, increase repeat purchases, and drive monthly orders. Once a customer completes a quiz or makes their first purchase, they receive a series of educational welcome emails. If they abandon a cart, they receive a series of reminders and offers to encourage them to make a purchase. Existing customers also receive replenishment reminders when they’re likely to be running out of a product, increasing lifetime value.
  • Driving new product sales with campaigns: During a sale celebrating the brand’s birthday, Moom Health used Klaviyo to send out a site-wide 40%-off discount, highlighting different products to different customer segments and excluding those who had already purchased. This helped expand the brand’s relationship with their community by encouraging existing customers to explore new products.
