Share Klaviyo with Your Entire Team

As your company and email marketing grows, you will add specialists to your team that focus on different aspects of your business. The person who designs your campaign emails may not be the same person who creates your email flows, or website forms. Analyzing your campaign performance and making strategic decisions requires an entirely different skill set than setting up integrations.

Ensuring that anyone who performs these roles has access to everything they need, and not more, is key to enabling your staff while protecting your business. With that in mind, we’ve added new user management tools to Klaviyo, including user roles.

Share Access To Klaviyo With Your Team

Adding new users to your account is the first step to enabling your growing team to function at top levels. We’re excited to announce our latest user management release, which simplifies this process by making it completely self-service.

Try out the updated user management tool by going to your Account page. Anyone with the Owner or Admin role can navigate to the Users tab to create, edit, or remove users from your account. There are detailed instructions on our help page.

Three Additional User Roles Are Available

Creating new accounts can easily result in too many people with too much access, unless you give each user the correct access. With the user roles added in our latest release, there are more options to assign to specialists. We hope this gives you the confidence to share access to your Klaviyo account across your team.

We’ve added three new user roles: Content Creator, Campaign Coordinator, and Analyst

  • Content Creators can create and edit email templates and touch up your campaign and flow emails, but cannot send anything or view any unneeded information.
  • Campaign Coordinators have the same permissions as Content Creators, and can also create and send campaigns.
  • Analysts can view metrics and campaign and flow data, but cannot create or edit any content or send emails.

These new user roles join the existing Owner, Admin, and Manager roles. Details on the new user roles can be found in the help center.

What can I do now?

Check out your Account page, and make sure that each of your current users has the correct role assigned. While you’re there, you can also create a user profile for any other team members who you want to use Klaviyo, and also remove any unnecessary or shared users.

Now that you can manage users directly and assign each the right level of access, everyone can grab the right tool and get to work.

As always, if you have any ideas or suggestion for how we can help you grow, please email product@klaviyo.com with the subject line “I have an idea”.
